#AmJMed Launches ‘Gold Open Access’ Journal (video)

As a leading publication in internal medicine, AJM is delighted to offer a companion journal to feature new and engaging Open Access content alongside our long tradition of research. AJM Open is seeking original articles on Internal Medicine-related topics similar to those discussed in our well-established subscription Journal.

When you publish in American Journal of Medicine Open, millions of researchers and general practitioners will have immediate and free access to your research. In this new Gold Open Access journal, accepted articles submitted in 2021 will be published at absolutely no charge to authors.

“My goal is for AJM Open to be an innovative forum for practitioners of internal medicine and its specialties by building bridges within health care and extending bridges to new and emerging disciplines. We are particularly interested in interdisciplinary research, population management, and integration of technology into clinical care,” said AJM Open Editor-in-Chief Stuart R. Chipkin, MD.

AJM Open publishes clinical research and reviews across all topics in internal medicine, with a focus on infectious disease, pain management, preventive medicine, geriatrics, cardiology, endocrinology, and technology in medicine.

AJM Open prioritizes speed — so you and the one million daily users of ScienceDirect can see your article online within one week of acceptance, after a thorough peer review process.
