The American Journal of Medicine and the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management are sponsoring continuing medical education (CME) resource center on safe prescribing practices for opioids.

The Opioid REMS Resource: Tools for Safe Prescribing in Chronic Pain Management provides you with free access to the latest peer-reviewed clinical information relating to ER/LA opioid treatment and management of chronic pain patients, including educational offerings intended to be fully compliant with the ER/LA Opioid Analgesic REMS (risk evaluation and mitigation strategies) education requirements issued by the Food and Drug Administration.

The Opioid REMS Resource is a freely accessible platform that aims to increase clinical knowledge by providing continuing medical educational activities, research articles and tools for healthcare providers who treat patients with chronic pain and prescribe ER/LA opioid analgesics.
