The American Journal of Medicine Editorial Office has been in Tucson, Arizona since Professor of Medicine and Cardiologist Dr. Joseph S. Alpert took over in 2004.
For several weeks now, Arizona has had one of the worst outbreaks in the world. Alpert and other AJM editors have been working during the pandemic in hospitals at their institutions throughout the US.
